Job Summary

The Scheduler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules to ensure that all project activities are planned and executed efficiently and on time. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to track progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. The Scheduler plays a critical role in facilitating communication, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic project environment.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

– Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in collaboration with project managers and team leaders.

– Monitor project timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.

– Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for different departments.

– Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements and organizational goals.

– Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders promptly.

– Analyze project progress and identify potential delays or conflicts in schedules.

– Prepare regular reports on project status, including timeline updates and resource allocation.

– Utilize scheduling software and tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules.

– Assist in the development of contingency plans to address potential scheduling conflicts or delays.

– Support the development and implementation of scheduling policies and procedures.

– Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve scheduling issues.

– Provide administrative support related to scheduling, including maintaining documentation and records.

– Provide cost load schedule and cash flow of the project.

 

Job Requirements

– Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools).

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Excellent time management abilities and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address scheduling conflicts.

– Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

– Knowledge of project management principles and practices.

– Ability to analyze data and generate detailed scheduling reports.

– Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

– Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
